In MySciLife, students join password-protected, teacher-controlled Communities where they post, comment, and interact as science-themed identities. MySciLife was designed with your student’s safety in mind:

• MySciLife is Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA) compliant and third party verified by the kidSAFE Seal Program.
• Teachers joining the platform must have their employment verified before their accounts are activated.
• Only you and your student’s teacher can see your student’s real name and login details.
• You control who can see your student’s content.

When your student creates their account, they will provide your email address, and you will receive an email notification with a link to create your account and instructions to provide consent.
